Crazy Weather Update

So....after I posted my last post, I left the house to pick up kids, run to the bank, gymnastics...the usual afternoon activities. This is what I came home to! It's still snowing like crazy! I have to say I'm not too excited about it. I'm definitely ready for summer. This day has just been so weird that I had to update the blog! Needless to say Marshall's game was cancelled tonight so we're having a family night at home. Maybe we'll build a fire!

April snow!!

Last weekend the kids got sunburned at Marshall's baseball game....today it's snowing! Can't believe it! Check out the view out back!

Ella is 7!!!!

Today was Ella's 7th birthday! To celebrate her special day, we took the kids out to dinner at Claim Jumper. They were all excited because we don't go out to eat that much.


There is one main reason we don't go out much......Sadie Rose!! She tends to get wild when we take her out, but always makes us laugh a lot.

Ella opened presents while we waited for our food. Her favorite gift was a stuffed dog that she name "Nibbles".

Sadie liked Nibbles too and had a hard time understanding why she couldn't have him. Ella let her hold him for a little while during dinner.

Then the kids got to make their own sundaes! So fun....but what a mess! I'm glad we were at a restaurant and not at home!

We had a great time as a family celebrating Ella's 7 years! We all shared things we liked about Ella and embarrassed her a little. She's an awesome kid, a handful at times, but an amazing gift to our family!
