Here she is on her actual birthday, getting ready for school! Ava is quite excited to finally be 5!
After school she went out for a special lunch with Nana at Ruby's Diner. Ava recommends the Cookies N' Cream milkshake!
On Sunday we had her kid party at gymnastics. It was a blast!

Sadie was thrilled to be able to be out on the gym floor! Usually she has to stand behind the gate and watch her sisters. She loved swinging on the bars!

While we were preparing for the party, Marshall was playing in the championship game of the soccer tournament he was in all weekend. They ended up losing by one, but we're definitely proud of the team for making it so far and were bummed to miss the game! Here are some great shots Nana and Papa took at the game...
He's becoming quite the goalie! Ava's birthday will continue with one more small family celebration on Thanksgiving...and another chance to blow out some candles!
