It's Soccer Time!!

Marshall is playing in his first soccer tournament of the season this weekend! It's hot out! His team is looking great and we had a fun family day watching! The girls stayed cool by rubbing ice cubes from the cooler all over themselves! When the snacks were gone, we entertained them by taking pictures!

Our boy! Tired and hot....getting ready to go to his friend's house to rest up for the next game. We'll miss the next two because of church. :(

I ♥ soccer season!!

Build - A - Bear!

Today we went to Build-A-Bear so Sadie could spend her birthday gift card! She's been there before, but was so excited to make a new bear! She picked a pink and blue ice cream bear!

She helped stuff the bear...

and gave it a squeeze to make sure it was just right!

It was time to put the heart in! Sadie clapped and clapped to make sure the heartbeat was strong....

then made a loooong wish. She wouldn't tell me what she wished for.

Then she gave the bear a nice scrub! She picked out a cute outfit and named it "Snugglebug". So fun!

We stopped at the play area to give Lola a break from the stroller. It was nice to have Ella and Ava there to help watch her!

The play area is not so relaxing anymore because Lola's a climber!!! She likes to climb as high as she can, then stand up. It's a little scary!

Sadie had fun taking Snugglebug down the slides!

Since her bear was a limited edition Baskin Robbins bear....it came with a coupon for a free ice cream cone! Bonus!! Of course we had to go right away....there's nothing better than ice cream in the middle of the afternoon! :)

We survived another summer day! It's bath time!

The 4th!

This year our 4th of July started with church! We had a special service with a pancake breakfast...we had to get all the kids up and out the door by 7:30!! Not an easy task!

After church, the girls changed into their leotards, I did their hair, and we were off to march in the Bothell parade!

This was Sadie's first time walking in the parade and she was pretty excited.

Sadie fizzled out before the parade even started! It was to be expected, she's not really a fan of walking long distances. She and Lola took turns riding in the stroller and riding on shoulders.
After we finished, we were able to catch the rest of the parade!

The trucks were loud!
Red and blue Sno-cones!!

After the parade we headed to our friend's house for some yummy food, lots of laughs, and a great fireworks show over the lake! We are so thankful that we have friends that will invite our whole crazy family over!! :)

It was fun to spend time with and admire baby Eli, just two weeks old! Lola did not like me holding him!

Dinner outside in the rain!

And some pre-fireworks show fireworks!

While everyone else sat out on the deck to watch the show, Lola crashed on the couch in my arms and we took a breather from our looooong day!

We're still recovering!!!! ☺
