would be a fun surprise for daddy when he gets back from California! It was definitely more of an adventure than I was prepared for! Ella was so brave and went first. Normally they pierce both ears at once, but since there was only one person there today, they had to do one ear at a time. That proved to be a problem for Ava. After the first ear....she was done. She said she was fine with one earring. I wasn't fine with her having just one earring. After lots of tears she got the other one done, but was slightly traumatized! When we got home, she decided that having her ears pierced wasn't so great and we ended up taking them out. She said, " Maybe I'll try again sometime when I'm older, like 6 or 10 or something like that!"
ALL DONE!
I don't think Ava really knew what to expect, but she was a trooper! There aren't any after pictures....she wasn't felling too photogenic.
Sadie got her ears done too....pretty cute! She doesn't seem to notice or care too much, she's just her happy self...now with a little sparkle!
All in all, it was an adventure!

Those pictures are absolutely adorable. I love the play by play. And seeing Ava after her ear piercing adventure....I enjoyed seeing her lovely smily before pictures! super cute Simmons girls!! Great job!
